Debasish Mohapatra

Debasish Mohapatra is a seasoned professional in the mining industry, currently serving as General Manager at Lagata since September 2024. Prior to this role, Debasish held the position of Senior Manager Mining (Planning) at PT Bayan Resources Tbk, where responsibilities included developing a three-year go-ahead mine plan, designing pit situations and disposal plans, and managing critical parameters in mud handling and water management. Debasish has also worked as Mining Operations Manager at PT. Borneo Prima, focusing on project management and mine planning, and served in various managerial roles, including Mines Manager at Alpha Centauri Mining SA and Project Manager at Mining Mineral Resources S.P.R.L. Additionally, Debasish has extensive experience as a Senior Mining Engineer at Coal India Limited, contributing to significant coal production for the country.
