Kim Hunter has over 30 years of experience in leadership roles within the advertising, marketing, and communications industry. Kim is the CEO and founder of LAGRANT COMMUNICATIONS, an integrated marketing communications firm that specializes in creating multicultural and culturally sensitive campaigns for diverse consumer markets. In 1998, they also established The LAGRANT Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides academic scholarships to Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) pursuing careers in advertising. Additionally, Kim is the Managing Partner of KLH & Associates, an executive search firm that connects companies with diverse talent in the communications sector. Kim previously served as the EVP & GM at the International Communications and Advertising Network (ICAN), where they played a key role in increasing the company's client portfolio and reducing debt. Earlier in their career, Kim held positions at PHARMASEAL International Limited, where they excelled as a Sales Representative and later became the Marketing Manager, overseeing profit and strategic planning for a $45M sales organization. Throughout their career, Kim has demonstrated expertise in diversity marketing, strategic planning, fundraising, client management, and product launches.
Kim Hunter received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington, which they completed in 1982. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in International Management from the University of St. Thomas, which they finished in 1988.
