Katherine Morton

Katherine Morton is a Museum Educator at Laguna Art Museum since October 2022, bringing a diverse teaching background that includes serving as an Elementary School Teacher at Joe E. Moreno Elementary from August 2019 to June 2022 and as a Student Teacher at the Baton Rouge Center for Visual and Performing Arts in early 2019. Additional experience includes tutoring elementary students through Care.com, creating curriculum as a Creative Writing Summer School Teacher at Bakersfield Christian High School, and assisting in Speech and Debate summer programs. Katherine conducted media research for the Office of the Congressman as an intern and gained practical skills in recruiting and marketing through multiple internships at A-C Electric Company. Katherine holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Louisiana State University, completed in 2019, after graduating from Garces Memorial High School in 2015.
