Carlos Vilela has been working in the 3D art field since 2003. Carlos began their career at Euroline as a Lead 3D Artist, where they were responsible for 3D walk throughs for houses and buildings, including modeling, texturing, lighting, and rendering. In 2005, they moved to Redcow Animation, where they served as Lead 3D Artist (Generalist) and headed up all 3D work, delegating tasks and setting deadlines. In 2010, they became CG Supervisor at Astral Studios. In 2011, they joined Luma Arcade as a 3D Game Artist, where they were responsible for character modeling and texturing, as well as animating and scene modeling, texturing, animating, and lighting. Finally, in 2012, they joined The Production Works as Lead 3D Artist. In 2020, they moved to Laguna Games, where they are currently serving as a 3D Artist.
Carlos Vilela attended the Johannesburg Art Foundation from 1996 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor in Fine Arts with a major in Sculpting and Painting. Carlos then attended Boston Media House from 2005 to 2007, where they earned an Animation degree in 3D Animation.
