Steven Garcia

Steven Garcia has an extensive work experience in the gaming industry. Steven started their career in 2007 as Lead Engineer at GarageGames, where they worked on a web and mobile beat-matching game called Instant Jam. Steven then moved on to Nihilistic Software in 2011 as a Tools Engineer, followed by DeNA in the same year as Lead Game Engineer. In 2014, Steven became Senior Software Engineer at Merigo and Founder of Dreamtastic. Steven also held the role of Technical Director at Americana Game Studio in 2015. Finally, in 2017, Steven consulted in a technical leadership capacity at Beyond Games, developers of Battle Strike Force (featuring Sylvester Stallone). Steven then became Co-Founder and CTO of Laguna Games in 2019.

Steven Garcia graduated from North High School in 2015. Steven then attended the University of California, Los Angeles from 2015 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in English.
