We are a Finnish company specializing in the design and manufacturing of high-performance tools for the wood processing industry.
Founded in Lahti, Finland in 1963, we serve a wide range of industries including sawmills, furniture and parquet manufacturers, log home builders, and the cross-laminated timber (CLT) sector.
We take pride in being Finland’s only dedicated manufacturer of advanced post-processing tools such as moulders, cutters, jointing tools and diamond tooling. All our products are designed and manufactured in Finland, combining engineering precision with Nordic durability.

With production units in Lahti and Kuopio, we deliver tools that power the production lines of leading wood processing companies. Our product development is driven by close customer collaboration and a long-term commitment to quality, reliability, and responsible manufacturing.
From sustainable materials sourcing to a 100% renewable energy and proactive safety culture, we continuously improve not just our tools but also the way we work.

Since 2022, Lahden Teräteos has been part of the LSAB Group, which belongs to Latour Industries, a division of the Swedish investment company Investment AB Latour. Lahden Teräteos is a manufacturing unit within Micor Tooling.
This ownership provides us with a strong platform for long-term growth, international cooperation, and continued development of our people and technologies.
