Brendan Scaramuzzo

Brendan Scaramuzzo is a VFX Scan & Asset Artist at LAIKA Studios since August 2023, following experiences as a 3D Scanner at Outward, Inc. from January 2022 to August 2023, where responsibilities included scanning new furniture for major brands and organizing data for team use. Prior experience includes roles as a Junior 3D Designer at Nyriad, contributing to sales and marketing presentations through real-time rendering, and a 3D Prop Modeler at Golden Ghost Productions, enhancing a video game through environmental asset creation. Brendan's earlier work involved scanning landmarks as a Scanning Technician and 3D Artist at California State University, Chico, as well as size-accurate representations of bird beaks at the Valance L. Smith Museum. An initial role as a 3D Environment Artist at Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. involved recreating a VR walkthrough of the brewery based on historical references. Brendan holds a degree in Computer Animation and Game Design from California State University, Chico.
