David Burke

David Burke has extensive work experience in the film and entertainment industry. David most recently served as the Chief Marketing & Operations Officer at LAIKA Studios starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Chief Marketing Officer & Senior Vice President Operations at LAIKA Studios from July 2020 to May 2023. From July 2019 to May 2023, they were the Chief Marketing Officer at LAIKA Studios. Before joining LAIKA Studios, David served as the Chairman of the Industry Trust for Intellectual Property Awareness from August 2016 to June 2019. David also worked at Universal Pictures International for over 12 years, where they held the role of General Manager from October 2006 to June 2019.

David Burke completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in English and History of Art at University College Dublin from 1995 to 1998. David then pursued a Master's degree in Film Studies at the same university from 1998 to 1999. In 2004 to 2005, David obtained a Diploma in Marketing, Advertising, and PR from Dublin Business School. Lastly, from 2011 to 2013, they attended Technological University Dublin and obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General.
