David Conlon

David Conlon is a seasoned professional in the field of animation and visual effects, currently serving as the Lead Look Development Artist at LAIKA Studios since January 2022, following a role as Look Development Supervisor at Invisible Thread. With extensive experience at Sony Pictures Imageworks from June 2005 to March 2021, David Conlon contributed to various high-profile projects including "Vivo," "Smallfoot," and "The Emoji Movie," holding positions such as Lighting/Lookdev Lead and CG Supervisor. David Conlon also has experience in strength and conditioning coaching, having worked at Victory Performance and Physical Therapy, and co-founded the Los Angeles Aviators, a professional ultimate disc team. David Conlon holds an MFA in Film, Animation, and Digital Arts from the University of Southern California and a degree in Architecture from Texas A&M University.
