John Jenkins

John Jenkins is an accomplished Senior CG Lighting Artist currently working at LAIKA Studios on the project "Wildwood." Jenkins has extensive experience in lighting and rendering, having previously served as a Computer Graphics Supervisor at At The Post, Inc., where responsibilities included lighting environments for HBO's "Righteous Gemstones" and rendering photoreal assets for "White House Plumbers." Additional roles include Senior Lighter at SPIN VFX for the SpongeBob movie, Senior Lighting Technical Director at The Mill for an Amazon commercial and Hulu's "SHOGUN," and Senior Lighting Technical Director for HBO's "Winning Time: Rise of the Lakers" and Hulu's "The Orville." Jenkins started a career as Marketing and Design Director at TVS and has held positions in lighting technical direction at companies such as XYZ and Sony Pictures Imageworks. Academic credentials include a degree from the University of Oklahoma and training at the Digital Hollywood Institute of Media Arts.
