Tim Garbutt

Tim Garbutt is an accomplished creative professional with extensive experience in the animation and digital arts industries. Currently serving as Creative Director for Marketing at LAIKA Studios since April 2015, Tim has held various roles including Creative Marketing Lead and Graphic Designer. Prior to this, Tim worked as a Freelance Digital Artist, where responsibilities included graphic design, video editing, and After Effects compositing. Tim's career includes significant positions at DreamWorks Animation, where involvement ranged from graphic design to media coordination within the outreach department. Educationally, Tim holds a Master of Fine Arts in Animation and Digital Arts from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art - Animation from the University of Central Florida.
