Anna Thompson

Anna Thompson is a Risk and Compliance Lead at Laing O'Rourke since March 2017, also serving as a Senior Planning Manager on the Sydney Metro Central Station project. Prior experience includes roles at MTR Corporation Limited as a Project Planner and at Gammon Construction Limited as a Programming Engineer and Senior Planning Engineer, notably contributing to the Tuen Mun-Chek Lap Kok Southern Viaduct project. Earlier in the career, Anna Thompson worked as a Project Engineer focused on temporary works design at Gammon Construction for the West Kowloon Terminus station on the MTR Express Rail Link to China. The professional journey began at Sir Robert McAlpine, where Anna held various engineering positions from September 2005 to October 2011. Anna Thompson is a graduate of The University of Birmingham, holding an MEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering with Management.
