Ben Chalmers is a highly experienced Project Engineer with a diverse background in civil engineering and project management, currently contributing to the Old Oak Common HS2 Station project at Laing O'Rourke since September 2015. Prior roles include Senior Engineer for Everton's new stadium development, where responsibilities encompassed managing extensive construction projects and leading engineering teams, as well as serving as Firestopping Manager overseeing firestopping processes. Chalmers has also held positions as Temporary Works Design Engineer and Site/Section Engineer for notable projects including Elephant Road and Oxford Westgate. Previous summer placements with Balfour Beatty and Network Rail provided foundational experience in site management and railway project management. Chalmers holds a Master of Engineering degree from the University of Cambridge and completed a Level 4 Data Fellowship in Data Science at Multiverse.
