Previously, at the Los Angeles Times from 1998 to 2017, Megan held various positions including Deputy Managing Editor and Assistant Managing Editor for Digital News, where responsibilities included managing digital content and editorial strategies. Early career experiences include roles as a staff writer at The News & Observer and as a news aide at The Washington Post. Megan earned an A.B. in American History from the University of Chicago.
