Tim Curtis Fct

Tim Curtis FCT has over 20 years of work experience in finance and treasury roles. Tim began their career as a Finance Undergraduate at Peugeot in 1999. Tim then joined Groupe PSA in 2001 as a Treasury Dealer, where they focused on front office dealing operations, liquidity, and risk management.

In 2007, Tim joined BAA as a Treasury Manager, responsible for managing liquidity, FX, investment, and debt operations. Tim played a key role in the successful £13.3bn refinancing of BAA's bank and bond debt facilities.

Tim joined Direct Wines in 2010 as the Director of Treasury, where they established funding, investment, and financial risk management strategies. Tim led the Group Treasury team and was involved in corporate finance, restructuring, and M&A projects. In 2014, they were promoted to Director of Finance, taking on additional responsibilities such as group consolidated reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and financial control. Tim successfully refinanced the group four times and managed FX risks. Tim also designed and managed global insurance programs, enterprise risk management, and business continuity planning.

In November 2020, Tim was appointed Group Treasurer & Corporate Affairs Director at Direct Wines, where they continue to oversee treasury operations along with corporate affairs.

Tim Curtis FCT attended Ryde School from 1986 to 1996. During this time, they did not acquire any specific degree or field of study. In 1997, they enrolled at Loughborough University and pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Management Science, which they completed in 2001.

Additionally, Tim Curtis FCT obtained the Fellowship certification from the Association of Corporate Treasurers in October 2022. Tim also holds the AMCT certification from the same institution, although the specific details regarding its acquisition are not provided.
