Kayla Winchell

Kayla Winchell is a seasoned healthcare professional with diverse experience spanning over 18 years. Currently serving as a Regional Health Unit Coordinator at LaJoy Group since June 2017, Kayla acts as a liaison between patients and medical staff, managing patient medical charts and tracking progress. Concurrently, Kayla has been an Anatomy & Physiology Instructor at Dorsey Schools since June 2016, educating classes of 6-12 students while adhering to college standards and Michigan state requirements. Previous roles include PTA/Massage Therapist at Back To Body In Home Physical Therapy & Massage, Neuro Rehabilitation Specialist at Special Tree Rehabilitation System, and various positions in patient care and assistance at facilities such as Bortz Health Care, Redi-Med, and Heartland HCR Manor Care. Kayla holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with a focus on Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from Chamberlain College of Nursing and Associate degrees in Health Science and Business from Saginaw Valley State University and Delta College.
