Heather McDermott

Heather McDermott is an experienced mortgage professional currently serving as a Mortgage Closer at Lake Area Mortgage, a Division of Royal Credit Union, since March 2016. In this role, Heather is responsible for preparing loan closing documents for various loan types, including Conventional, FHA, MHFA, VA, USDA, and Construction/Modification, as well as funding loans and managing construction disbursement requests. Prior to this, Heather worked at Land Home Financial Services from September 2010 to February 2016 as a Construction Manager, where responsibilities included preparing and funding construction loan documents, overseeing construction projects, and servicing a portfolio of over 500 chattel loans. Heather holds a degree in Legal Administration from Inver Hills Community College, completed from 1991 to 1993.
