Elizabeth joined the Lake Area Tech team in March 2023 as an Administrative Assistant for Financial Aid. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Sciences with an option in Human Services from Oregon State University. Elizabeth’s background includes roles as a visitation coordinator for the Department of Family Services in Oregon; a Workforce Investment Act case manager for the Department of Workforce Services in Wyoming; and an Administrative Secretary for the Mayor of Rapid City, SD. She and her husband have a daughter, Shelby, and twin boys, Levi and Ethan. In her free time, she enjoys boating, fishing, four-wheeling in the Black Hills, biking, and spending time with family.

Founded in 1965 as the first technical school in South Dakota, LAT's purpose is to provide the building blocks for success. Through core general education courses, students gain skills and knowledge for effectiveness in communication, computer, math, and the sciences.
