Kate Brown is a seasoned professional in the food industry with extensive experience in quality assurance, research and development, and product innovation. Currently serving as the Quality Assurance and R&D Manager at Lake Champlain Chocolates since August 2016, Kate has also held roles such as Innovation and Product Development Manager and Product Developer/R&D Specialist within the same company. Previous positions include Kitchen Manager at Potlicker Kitchen, Baker at Baked NYC, and Pastry Chef at Café Grumpy, among other culinary roles. Additionally, Kate has a background in business development from StoryCorps and product development at Oxford University Press. Kate holds a B.A. in Sociology and American Studies from Wesleyan University, and has completed professional culinary training at the New England Culinary Institute and Ecole Chocolate.
