Kimberly Peterson is an experienced Geographic Information Systems professional with a strong background in public safety and infrastructure planning. Currently serving as a Geographic Information Systems Analyst at the Lake County Board of County Commissioners since August 2021, Kimberly has previously worked as a Geographic Information Systems Technician at the Orange County Sheriff's Office and held the position of 911 Administrator at Orange County Government. Kimberly's expertise includes coordinating the 911 MSAG and contributing to the development of Next Generation 911 systems. Earlier career experience includes serving as a GIS Analyst/Planner at Montgomery Consulting Group, focusing on projects for the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, and managing the Ortho Department at Aerial Cartographics of America. Kimberly holds an Associate of Arts degree in General Studies from Valencia College.
