Aneri Shah

Aneri Shah is a Finance and Compliance Coordinator at EMILYs List since July 2024, responsible for processing contributions to female Democratic pro-choice candidates and ensuring FEC compliance. Previous experience includes serving as Staff Assistant at the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates, where Aneri tracked over $1 million in sponsorships and coordinated high-level visits. As a Legal Writing Intern for Aneri's Lawyer, Aneri published 84 articles on women's legal issues, and as a Political Intern with the Democratic Party of Illinois, contributed to campaign fundraising and community outreach. Aneri's early experience as a Legislative Intern for Illinois State Representative Joyce Mason involved community outreach and providing relevant legislative information during the pandemic. Aneri holds a degree in Philosophy, Politics & Economics from the University of Southern California and studied at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
