Colin Quinn Commito serves as the Principal Assistant State's Attorney for Lake County, having previously held positions as an associate at Henderson Parks, LLC and The Cochran Firm Chicago. Their legal career began at Luther Franklin Spence and Associates, where they represented clients in various criminal proceedings and notably argued significant cases before appellate courts. Colin also clerked for appellate court justices, drafting over 100 opinions and orders. In addition to their legal expertise, Colin is a classical pianist with a double degree in music and government, alongside their Juris Doctorate and Master of Laws from the UIC John Marshall Law School.
