Matt Emde

Matt Emde, P.E. has extensive experience in civil engineering, currently serving as Project Manager/Principal Engineer at Lake County Division of Transportation since December 2011, overseeing capital roadway improvement projects through all phases of construction. Prior to this role, Matt worked as an Estimator at Rose Paving Company and as a Project Engineer at Manhard Consulting, Ltd., where significant contributions included the design of commercial and industrial projects for private developers in the greater Chicago area and southeast Wisconsin, covering large-scale developments such as a 150,000 square foot commercial building and a 1,305,000 square foot distribution warehouse. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering/Environmental Engineering from Michigan State University, earned between 1998 and 2002.
