Peter Walter

Peter Walter possesses extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple industries. Currently serving as a Governing Member at Lake District National Park since July 2023, Peter also holds the position of Director at Keswick Tourism Association Limited since January 2022. Between September 2011 and September 2019, Peter was Chair/Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees for OutdoorLads, a charity focused on promoting outdoor activities for the LGBTQ+ community. Prior experience includes Managing Partner at Gripped Communications, where major global brands were supported in engaging stakeholders, and a Consultant role at ?What If! Innovation, aiding large firms in driving innovation. Peter's early career includes impactful marketing roles at Vimto and Unilever, where brand campaigns and product launches contributed significantly to sales growth. Peter holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Birmingham.
