Russell Messer

Russell Messer is an experienced educator and engineer with a diverse background in science and technology. Currently serving as Adjunct Faculty at Lake Erie College since January 2018, Russell teaches physics in the Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. Since September 2006, Russell has also been a Science Teacher for the Hooked on Education Program at Fairport Harbor Board of Education, specializing in personalized learning for students in various scientific disciplines. Previous roles include teaching science and math at Bury Lawn School, working as an Optical Engineer at QSS Group, and serving as a Lab Instructor and Research Assistant at Cleveland State University, where Russell contributed to NASA research. Experience in manufacturing supervision at Loctite Corporation and research roles at SIFCO and Mead Paper Corporation further highlights Russell's extensive knowledge in both educational and technical fields. Russell holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Cleveland State University.
