Maria Elena Jonas

María Elena Jonas is one of the founders and the current executive director of Hispanic American Community Education and Services (HACES). She is responsible for ensuring the organization’s overall function and sustainability, administering programs and budgets, supervising staff, and representing HACES in the community. María has more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit administration. She is a member of the Lake County Workforce Development, founder and member of the Latino Coalition, and member of the Alliance for Human Services.
