David Sylvan

David Sylvan currently serves as the Chief Strategy, Innovation & Marketing Officer at University Hospitals, a position assumed in October 2023 while maintaining the role of President of UH Ventures since August 2015. In this capacity, David oversees core operations, industry partnerships, technology transfer, and business development, driving growth and innovation across the health system. David has held various leadership roles, including Vice President & Executive Director, where efforts focused on creating revenue opportunities and enhancing patient experiences. Additionally, David is engaged on numerous boards, including Ohio Life Sciences and Southwest General Health Center, and has an extensive educational background with an EMBA from the Weatherhead School of Management and a B. Comm from the University of the Witwatersrand.
