Jennifer Byrne

Jennifer Laing is an experienced digital communications and public relations professional with a diverse background in various industries. Currently serving as a Digital Communications Officer at Lake Macquarie City Council since July 2019, Jennifer previously held roles as a Public Relations and Communications Officer and Marketing Executive at Wests Entertainment Group from June 2016 to July 2019. Early career experience includes a Finance Cadet position at Woodley’s Motors, where responsibilities involved finance and insurance tasks, as well as an Accounts Officer role at Solar Power Australia, focusing on financial management and customer service. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Communications with a focus on Digital Communication and Media Studies from the University of Newcastle, completed in 2012.
