Kirra Weigner

Kirra Weigner is an experienced environmental professional currently serving as a Natural Areas Project Officer at Lake Macquarie City Council since August 2021. Prior roles include Bush Regenerator at Toolijooa Environmental Restoration from February 2018 to August 2021 and Green Army Bush Regenerator with Conservation Volunteers Australia in 2017. Kirra's background in customer service was developed during a tenure at Coles from 2010 to 2016, alongside brief experience as a Research Assistant at Southern Cross University in 2016, focusing on marine debris cleanups. Kirra holds substantial academic qualifications, including a Bachelor of Environmental Science and a Bachelor of Marine Science and Management from Southern Cross University, as well as a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Marine Science and a Statement of Attainment in Business Skills for Supervisors from TAFE NSW.
