Tony Farrell

Tony Farrell is an experienced professional with a distinguished career in public service and business management. Currently serving as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Lake Macquarie City Council since August 1992, Tony has also held the position of Director at the Business Growth Centre Lake Macquarie from January 2013 to August 2022. In addition, Tony has contributed to the UDIA NSW Smart Cities & Sustainable Built Environment Committee from December 2019 to January 2022 and served as Trustee, ex-Officio at Belmont Wetlands State Park from 2010 to April 2020. As a Director and Company Secretary for Hunter Resource Recovery between 2012 and November 2019, Tony demonstrated strong leadership capabilities. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's Degree in Town Planning from UNSW and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Newcastle.
