Wendy Gleen is an experienced Landcare Support Officer at Lake Macquarie City Council since July 2021, with a background in conservation and education. Previously, Wendy worked for the Taronga Conservation Society Australia for over 31 years as a Senior Keeper, specializing in small native mammal husbandry and ecology, and developing novel husbandry techniques. Wendy also served as a Bush Regenerator at Waratah Eco Works from 2003 to 2005 and worked as a casual lecturer at TAFE NSW from 1995 to 2000, where Wendy developed and delivered lectures on Australian mammal biology and husbandry. Wendy holds a Master of Science in Ecology from The University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Science from Macquarie University.
