Kasie Luke

Kasie Luke has extensive experience in educational leadership, currently serving as the Superintendent of Schools for Lake and Peninsula School District since July 2010. In this role, Kasie listens to school board members and community stakeholders to enhance student services, empowers administration and staff to fulfill the district's mission, and fosters partnerships for Career and Technical Education opportunities. Previous positions include Personnel Director, focusing on recruiting certified educators and supporting staff wellness, and Itinerant Principal, where efforts centered on student achievement and community collaboration. Kasie also has a background as an Itinerant School Counselor, traveling to remote communities to provide support. Educational qualifications include a Master's of Education and Superintendent Endorsement from the University of Alaska Southeast, a Master's of Education in School Counseling from Penn State University, and a Bachelor's degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
