Alex Werner

Alex Werner is an experienced equipment manager in the hockey industry, currently serving as the Head Equipment Manager at Lake Superior State University since August 2024. Prior experience includes roles as Assistant Equipment Manager for the Rockford IceHogs from September 2022 to July 2024, and Equipment Manager for the Dubuque Fighting Saints from September 2021 to September 2022. Additional experience encompasses facilities and ice operations management, as well as skate sharpening and equipment repair at Fuel Tank at Fishers from September 2017 to August 2021. Alex also served as Equipment Manager for the Hamilton Southeastern Hockey Club, where responsibilities included skate sharpening, equipment repair, and inventory management. Alex's diverse background also includes coaching varsity high school hockey and working in food and beverage roles, supported by a Bachelor of Science in Culinary Management from The International Culinary School at the Art Institute of Indianapolis.
