Cindy Block

Cindy Block is a seasoned educator with extensive experience in teaching and curriculum development. Currently employed as a Substitute Teacher at Lake Tahoe Unified School District since September 2014, Cindy Block has a strong background as a tenured secondary Life Science Teacher at San Diego Unified School District, where employment began in May 1999. During this time, Cindy Block taught subjects including Chemistry and Biology, and developed two accepted curriculums for the instructional curriculum committee. Earlier career experience includes a role as a Technical Nurse Trauma Partner at Mercy Hospital from January 1990 to June 1993. Cindy Block holds a Bachelor's degree in Cell & Molecular Biology from San Diego State University and pursued Nursing and Anthropology studies at Humboldt State University.
