Katie Hutchins

Katie Hutchins is an experienced instructor and clinical education coordinator currently working at Alpine Training Project and Lake Washington Physical Therapy. As an instructor, Katie leads a pre-season training program focused on injury prevention for skiers and snowboarders. In the role of clinical education coordinator, Katie organizes and directs the placement of DPT interns at multiple LWPT locations, coordinating with academic institutions and mentoring students. Katie has a strong background in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy, having worked with diverse patient populations including athletes, pediatric, and geriatric patients. Additional experience includes guiding outdoor trips and educational classes as an outdoor school instructor at REI, and a variety of clinical internships in various healthcare settings. Katie holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Neuroscience from UC San Diego.
