Jessica Wassman

Jessica Wassman is a dedicated educator currently serving as a Middle School English Language Arts and Social Studies Teacher at Lake Washington School District since July 2022. Previously, Jessica held the position of Teaching Fellow at Impact Public Schools, where responsibilities included co-teaching in a kindergarten classroom and creating differentiated lesson plans. Jessica has also worked in various roles within education, including as an Instructional Paraeducator in Lake Washington School District, providing academic support to students with individualized education plans, and as Summer Programs Support Staff at French American School of Puget Sound. Prior to Jesscia's teaching career, experience included positions in development and communications at New America and Barakat, Inc., along with an internship at the World Affairs Council. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Western Governors University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Boston University.
