Katie Walter

Katie Walter is an experienced educator currently serving as a Teacher for 6th-8th Grade Language Arts and Social Studies with ELL endorsement at Lake Washington School District since August 2015. Previous roles include a Teaching Intern for 8th Grade Language Arts, Social Studies, and ELL at the same district, as well as a brief position as Mrs. Claus at Snowflake Lane with Greg Thompson Productions Inc. Katie has a background in management, having served as Managing Partner at Daedal Ventures, LLC, and owned and operated Katie's Place Farm, a commercial poultry farm in Lewis County, Washington. With a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education and Teacher Certification and a Bachelor's Degree in Creative Writing from the University of Washington, Katie brings a diverse skill set to the educational field.
