Marissa Potts

Marissa Potts is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching and curriculum development. Currently serving as a 6-12 ELA Teaching & Learning Specialist at Lake Washington School District since August 2018, Marissa previously held positions as an English Teacher at Juanita High School and as an English and AVID Teacher at Woodside High School from August 2014 to July 2018. Marissa's earlier career includes roles as English Department Chair, English Teacher, and WASC Chair at Prospect High School from August 2006 to June 2014. Marissa has earned multiple degrees, including a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Santa Clara University and a Master’s in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment from Walden University, in addition to a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from California State University, Long Beach.
