Lake Worth ISD
Kristy Mann is an experienced educator and professional school counselor currently serving at Lake Worth ISD since June 2022 and at Birdville ISD since July 2020. Previously, Kristy worked as an accounting teacher at Fort Worth ISD from January 2008 to June 2017, where responsibilities included instructing business law and accounting courses for 11th and 12th graders and serving as Career and Technology Campus Chair. Prior to this, Kristy was a forensic accountant at the Tarrant County District Attorney's Office from January 2004 to January 2008, focusing on the analysis of financial data to investigate economic crimes. Early career experience includes a role as Retail and Sales Audit Manager at Pier 1 Imports from February 1995 to December 1998, improving theft detection methods. Kristy holds a Master of Science in Counselor Education/School Counseling from Angelo State University and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from The University of Texas at Arlington.
