Nate Duncan

Nate Duncan is the current CEO at Lakeland Behavioral Health System. Nate has over 20 years of experience in the behavioral health field. Nate started their career as a Director of Admissions and Social Services at Lakeland Regional Hospital in 2002. In 2011, they became the Director of Business Development at Lakeland Behavioral Health System where they oversaw marketing efforts in Missouri, Arkansas, and Kansas. In 2013, they were promoted to Chief Operations Officer and oversaw operations for the 80-bed residential and 122-bed acute facility. In February 2014, they were promoted to CEO. Nate Duncan has a passion for helping others and has been a driving force in the growth of Lakeland Behavioral Health System.

Nate Duncan has a Master's degree in Social Work from Missouri State University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Southwest Baptist University. Nate is also certified by the State of Missouri- Office of Administration as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
