Samantha Hirsh

Samantha Hirsh currently serves as the Director of Curriculum for Secondary Education at Lakeland Central School District, a position held since October 2023. Prior to this role, Samantha held the position of Assistant Director of Curriculum and Instructional Services at Putnam Northern Westchester BOCES from January 2021 to October 2023. As the Secondary Mathematics Coordinator at Bedford Central School District from July 2017 to January 2021, Samantha focused on advancing mathematics education. Earlier experience includes serving as a Math Teacher at Mamaroneck Union Free School District from August 2011 to June 2017 and at the NYC Department of Education from September 2006 to August 2011. Academic credentials include a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from The College of Saint Rose, a Master's Degree in Secondary Mathematics Education from The City College of New York, and a Bachelor of Arts in English & Political Science from McGill University. Currently, Samantha is pursuing a Doctor of Education in Teaching and Learning in Social Contexts at the University at Buffalo, expected to be completed in May 2024.
