Professor, Business Management And Director, Entrepreneurship Center at Lakeland Community College

Gretchen Skok DiSanto has had a diverse range of work experiences. Gretchen started their career as a Program Manager at Lake County Economic Development Center in 1998, then moved on to serve as the Economic Development Coordinator for the City of Painesville from 2001 to 2005. Gretchen later transitioned to Lakeland Community College, where they held various roles such as Director of EnterpriseOhio Network Professional Development Resource Center and Professor of Business Management. In addition, they also served as a Park Board Commissioner for Lake Metroparks starting in 2014. Throughout their career, Gretchen has demonstrated a commitment to entrepreneurship, economic development, and workforce training initiatives.

Gretchen Skok DiSanto completed their Bachelor of Arts in Classics and Classical Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics at Wellesley College in 1997. Gretchen pursued a Master of Nonprofit Organization at Case Western Reserve University from 1999 to 2002. Later on, they obtained a Master of Sustainable Urban Development Studies from Cleveland State University from 2003 to 2006. In 2009, Gretchen earned a Certified Business Advisor (CBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from The University of Toledo. Most recently, they completed their Doctorate of Business Administration in Leadership at Liberty University from 2017 to 2021.
