Rick Penny

Rick Penny has over 25 years of experience in the information technology field. Rick started their career at Sherwin-Williams as a PC/LAN Coordinator in 1992 and later moved on to roles such as Plant Systems Administrator and Distributed Systems Group Leader. Rick then transitioned to roles as an IT Director at companies like S&Z Metal Works and S&Z Tool & Die Co. In 2006, they became the Chief Information Officer at Lakeland Community College, where they managed significant technology projects and budgets.

Rick Penny attended Cleveland State University from 1988 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services. Rick also obtained a second Bachelor of Science in Computer Science during the same time period.
