Donald Davis has extensive work experience in the medical field. Donald is currently working as the Program Director for General Surgery Residency and Program Director for Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at Lakeland Regional Health-Florida since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Medical Doctor at USF Physician's group from July 2013 to July 2021. Additionally, they held the position of Assistant Professor of Trauma/Acute Care Surgery at USF College of Medicine from July 2013 to July 2021. In this role, they were responsible for handling general surgical cases, including elective, emergency, and trauma procedures, as well as managing the surgical intensive care unit.
Donald Davis has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Chemistry and Christianity from Mercer University, which they obtained from 1996 to 1999. Donald then attended the University of South Florida, where they earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from 2002 to 2006. Afterward, they completed a General Surgery Residency Program at the same institution from 2006 to 2012. In 2012 to 2013, they underwent a Surgical Critical Care Residency Program fellowship at the University of South Florida.
