Jose Suarez

Jose Suarez has extensive work experience in the field of IT. Jose started their career as a Network Administrator at Wimbish Riteway Realtors in 2001, where they implemented a Windows client/server network and administered servers for various functions. Jose then worked as an IT Administrator at NRT, Inc from 2002 to 2007, where they were responsible for planning, designing, and implementing LAN for the National Marketing Department.

In 2008, Jose worked as an Independent Consultant, providing IT services to small businesses. Jose implemented LAN, performed backups, installed workstations, and managed IT needs for training presentations and seminars. Later in 2008, they joined Felc Tutors as an IT Manager, where they handled a range of IT responsibilities including server maintenance, installation and configuration of software and hardware, and managing backups and security measures.

From 2011 to 2015, Jose served as the IT Division Director at the City of Miami Beach. Jose also held the position of Senior Systems Administrator during this time, where they managed Symantec NetBackup environment, oversaw backups and restores of servers, and supported/manage VMware ESXi.

Since 2016, Jose has been working at Lakeland Regional Health-Florida, starting as an IT Manager Technical Operations and currently serving as the IT Director - Infrastructure Technology. In their current role, they manage a team of IT engineers, implements advanced technologies, and ensures best practices are followed in order to maintain performance and security.

Jose Suarez received their Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems from Florida International University from 1996 to 2003. Prior to that, they also obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems from G. Holmes Braddock Senior High from 1992 to 1996.
