James Hurley

James Hurley is a seasoned audio engineer with extensive experience in live sound and broadcast engineering across various organizations, including Joe L Barnes and Maverick City Music, where James serves as an Audio Engineer since October 2023. Additionally, James functions as a Front of House (FOH) Audio Engineer for Dante Bowe and AMEN Music since January 2023 and as a Broadcast Audio Engineer at OpenDoor Church since February 2022, focusing on delivering a high-quality online audio experience for remote congregants. As the Founder of AV Coalition, James leads in providing AV solutions tailored to the House of Worship market, while also owning elaboratAV LLC, emphasizing effective AV solutions for diverse audiences. Previous roles include working as an Audiovisual Engineer for SAIC on the NASA NICS team and an AV Design Engineer at Continuant, where James designed comprehensive AV systems. James holds a CAD/BIM Technology Certificate from the Virtual Design & Construction Institute and a Certificate in Creative Studios and Leadership from Hillsong International Leadership College.
