Joel Scherzer

Joel Scherzer has extensive experience in the fashion industry, with a focus on graphic design and art direction. Joel currently works as the Creative Director for the Yesterdays garment line at Lakeshirts, where they oversee the creation and management of seasonal artwork assortments and trend direction for the brand. Before joining Lakeshirts, Joel worked as an Art Director at O'Neill Surf Company, where they managed a team and collaborated with the VP of Design and Art Director of Marketing to develop strategies for the O'Neill Sportswear line. Prior to that, they served as the Lead Artist for the DC Teamworks division at DC Shoes, where they worked closely with the apparel team and sponsored team riders to design products tailored to their needs. Joel also gained experience as a Senior Graphic Designer at Quiksilver and as a Graphics Designer at Billabong, where they designed artwork and researched trends for men's clothing lines.

Joel Scherzer attended the University of Oregon from 1995 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a focus on Visual Design. Prior to that, from 1994 to 1996, they also attended Gonzaga University. No specific degree or field of study is provided for their time at Gonzaga University.
