Ashley Possiel

Ashley Possiel has a diverse work experience in the manufacturing and sourcing industry. In 2010, they started their career at Hasbro as an Associate Project Engineer, where they developed products for various product lines. Ashley later became a Project Engineer, leading engineering development on Hasbro Gaming brands.

In 2013, Ashley joined Crayola as a Design Engineer, where they managed the adoption of total cost allocation decisions and determined optimal supply chains for all items. Ashley then became a Supply Chain Design Planner, where they applied their learnings in supply chain finance to develop a unique total cost of ownership model for Crayola's global supply base. Finally, they became a Manager of Sourcing, overseeing procurement and executing strategic commodity purchases.

Ashley returned to Hasbro in 2018 as a Senior Manager of Vendor Management. In this role, they managed manufacturing partners' performance and cost reviews, and led strategic initiatives to capture total cost of ownership benefits. Ashley later became the Director of Strategic Sourcing, where they contributed to the definition and execution of the global manufacturing strategy. Ashley was responsible for $500 million across 17 suppliers in 10 countries.

Most recently, Ashley is working as a Senior Director of Global Sourcing at Lakeshore Learning Materials, starting in 2023.

Ashley Possiel has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and Design, Innovation & Society from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Ashley also holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Additionally, they have a certification in Leading for Creativity from IDEO U, which they obtained in 2017.
