Daniel Welz

Daniel Welz is an experienced banking executive currently serving as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Lakeside Bank since April 2016. In this role, Daniel oversees various departments including Retail Banking, Treasury Management, Deposit Operations, and Compliance. Prior to this, Daniel held multiple senior positions at Suburban Bank & Trust Company from September 2004 to March 2016, including Executive Vice President, Director of Retail Banking, and Senior Vice President, Regulatory and Risk Management. Daniel's career began at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, where a range of regulatory and operational positions were held from December 1993 to September 2004. Daniel holds an MBA with a double concentration in International Business and Management from Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor's degree in Financial Management from Valparaiso University.
