Chris Overbeek

Chris Overbeek has a diverse work experience with a strong technical background. Chris started their career at Comshare, Inc. in 1995, where they were a Senior Developer leading a team of 10 and responsible for the development of multiple product deliverables. Chris played a key role in the architectural and design decisions, as well as contributed to the technical development of enhancements and fixes.

In 2003, Chris joined Geac as a Computer Scientist/Technical Manager. In this role, they led a team of developers and took primary responsibility for web services products, including the design and implementation of major architectural changes. Chris also led a successful restructuring project to convert all presentation layer components.

In 2006, Chris moved to Infor and became a Senior Manager, Product Development. Chris specified and maintained architectural and functional requirements for various components of an enterprise performance management toolset. Chris also held coding and maintenance responsibility for business logic modules and played a significant role in the ongoing development and maintenance of the enterprise performance management application.

Currently, Chris is working at Lakeside Software as an Engineering Manager. Chris began in 2015 as a Senior Engineer and was promoted to Engineering Manager in 2020. In their current role, they oversee a team and is responsible for infrastructure spending and new investments. Chris also handles customer issues and leads the development of the SysTrack Systems Management Agent.

Chris Overbeek completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Engineering from Michigan State University from 1991 to 1995.
